The holiday season is just around the corner, and in Whitby, that means the return of a special annual community celebration.
Those who are on the hunt for the perfect gift for a friend or family member may want to make sure they don’t miss out on attending the annual Christmas Market, which will be hosted by the Downtown Whitby BIA. Admission is free, and with many tables filled with unique, hand-crafted items, shoppers can be sure to find what they are looking for.
The opening of the holiday market will coincide with the community’s tree lighting ceremony, and along with the items on offer, there will be an assortment of activities for the public to enjoy. They can go ice skating, warm up with a mug of hot mulled cider or just sit back and enjoy the twinkling lights and live entertainment.
This will be the second year that the holiday market will be showcasing the talents of local craftspeople and artists, and it is scheduled to be held in Celebration Square. If the vendors participating in this type of activity visit a printing services company beforehand, they will have the materials they need to take full advantage of the opportunity.
