Whitby market welcomes autumns arrival

Fall in Whitby can be a fun time of the year, and an event that will showcase the town’s small business side will soon open its autumn market season.

The date for the Garden of Vendors Market has been set, and it is expected that at least 30 vendors will be on the list of participants. Many of the items in the mix will be hand made, and it will be a lively and welcoming affair.

The function, which is slated for Celebration Square, will be filled with artisans and small business stalls, and it will showcase local creative talent. Both new and returning sellers will be on hand, and as their applications are approved, their names are being added to the event’s marketing materials. Admission will be free, and background music and cornhole games are both on the agenda. It will welcome shoppers starting at 11:30 am, and the activity is being organized by Vivid Vendors.

Pop-up markets give the public a fun way to support their community's small businesses, and they can also be a whole lot of fun. A poster printing company can craft marketing materials that help to build interest in an upcoming event.

The Garden of Vendors Market will open autumn with a day of browsing and buying on September 6th. The Vivid Vendors website offers a link for any vendors who would like to submit an application.
