A local company that organizes pop-up markets in Whitby and the surrounding areas has an activity coming up in mid-September.
The Mom Market Durham Region has announced that it will be running a market at Whitby Marina, and it will be open to shoppers for six hours. It will be family friendly, and there is no entry fee for the public.
The event will provide the opportunity for people to support local small businesses, and the attendees may even be able to get a jump start on their holiday shopping. Lots of handmade items will be in the mix, and food will be available too. Live music will create a festive atmosphere, and there will be plenty of photo ops to be had. Everyone can take in views of the lake, and the doors will open at 10:00 am.
