Whitby fundraiser to become winter wonderland

Whitby is a community that wants to make sure everyone feels welcome, and to help make this happen, a special festive event has been planned for the community.

One of the main goals of the Abilities Centre is to increase inclusion, and it will be welcoming one and all at its 2022 Festival of Trees. It will be taking place at its location at 55 Gordon Street, and both single tickets and family passes are on offer.

The function will boast lots of holiday trees, and there will be plenty of other festive decor as well. A variety of games and activities will be set up, and along with the fun planned with kids in mind, there will be an opportunity to show some love to the local small businesses that have booked a space for the day. With so much going on, even Santa will be stopping by, and he will spend some time with the little ones.

The monies that are raised through this celebration will be used by Abilities Centre to offer summer camp opportunities to youth from the Durham Region and the rest of the Greater Toronto Area. Banner printing services are sometimes utilized for such an occasion.

The Festival of Trees will be adding some extra sparkle to the holidays on November 5th. The fun will be kicking off at 10:00 am.
