A Whitby event has been planned that will showcase the city’s foodie side by bringing together a huge assortment of local food trucks in one weekend of family friendly fun.
More than 30 mobile food service operators will be participating, and there will also be live entertainment. Food styles from all over the world will be available for purchase, and the public can try everything from poutine to pad Thai
The event is organized by the local Rotary Club, and the proceeds will be used to help support the assortment of initiatives its sponsors. Everything from savoury to sweet will be on offer, and performance artists will be on hand, along with artisan vendors who will be offering their products to those who attend.
This event has proven to be very popular in the past, and for this year, its organizer have added a Butter Tart Extravaganza to the schedule. This portion of the occasion will feature butter tarts created by bakers from all over the Durham Region. Banners and other decorations produced by a banner printing company can be utilized to help build the festive air of a gathering such as this.
