Whitby festival to welcome autumn in style

A well-loved tradition will be returning to the Whitby area this fall, and it will celebrate the harvest season in style.

The Brooklin Harvest Festival is not far away, and just as in the past, it promises to be a fun event for the family to enjoy. Many of the businesses that line Baldwin Street will be participating by hosting sidewalk sales and other special events designed to bring the local community together.

Along with the shopping party, there will be a vendor area that offers the feel of a farmers’ market. Here, the crowd can purchase a variety of produce as well as flowers and other items. In Grass Park, the public can relax in an Adirondack chair while they enjoy a live musical performance, and the whole function will be pedestrian-friendly.

Sponsoring or volunteering at an event like this can be a great way for an individual or business to show their community pride. Festive decor that welcomes one and all to the function can be prepared by a local banner printing company.

The 2020 Brooklin Harvest Festival will be held this year on September 19th and there is no charge to attend. It will be centred around Grass Park, which is located at 41 Baldwin Street, and everyone is welcome to come check it out.
