As summer transitions into fall, Whitby will be welcoming the new season with a special community celebration.
Grass Park will be giving area families a chance to join together in a spirit of fun, and with so much excitement in the works, many local merchants have chosen to get involved. The festivities will run for six hours, and there will be opportunities for all ages to have a great time.
The day will see lots of shops, eateries and other small businesses roll out the red carpet to shoppers and diners, and it will provide a fun, easy to explore what they have to offer. In Grass Park, everyone can sit back and relax in one of the chairs that will be set up, and while they do, they will be able to take in a live performance.
While the adults unplug and unwind, the kids in the crowd will be able to spend some time in a dedicated area. An inflatable corn maze, scavenger hunt, balloon artists and other activities will be on the agenda, and the rock wall will be open. Activity sheets, volunteer T-Shirts and welcome Banners are just a sample of what can be prepared by a banner printing company for a special occasion like this one.
