Whitby families will be able to add some extra fun to their Halloween schedule thanks to a social Bowmanville event.
Mommy Connections Durham provides opportunities to participate in activities throughout the year, and its third annual Trunk or Treat is right around the corner. King Street Community Church will be providing space for the celebration, and everyone is encouraged to put on their Halloween costume and head to the festivities.
The function will see the Durham parent community decorate their cars and other vehicles for the function, and they will have their trunks filled with candy and special treats. In support of the Teal Pumpkin Project, a selection of the vehicles will have items like stickers and other small gifts so that children with food allergies can still be part of the excitement of the occasion.
Along with the trunk or treating, the function will boast face painting, crafting, snack tables and also lots of photo opportunities. The first 100 families will receive a selection of swag, and a selection of local small businesses will have vendor tables to shop from. Promotional Products are often given as part of swag Bags at events like this.
This spooky celebration will be taking place on October 29th. The admission price per family is $25.00 plus HST, and it will be running from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Advance registration is required.
