A Whitby contest that will be in pursuit of the perfect pizza is being presented by a local small business next month.
Pizzaco has put together an activity that will offer home chefs a chance to get creative when it comes to preparing a pizza. To help everyone taking part get started, pizza kits are on offer, and a variety of pick up dates are available.
Each contestant can order their kit, and once they get it home, they will need to let the dough rest and rise at either room temperature or in the fridge. They can then prepare the crust and add their choice of sauce and toppings – they can use the toppings provided and additional ones if they would like. Once they feel it is complete, they are encouraged to take some photos and submit them.
Along with the prizes presented to the top entries, there will also be random draws. Each of the Boxes ordered will have enough ingredients to prepare two pizzas, as well as a raffle ticket. This will need to be retained to both make an entry and be included in the draw.
Pizzaco will be judging its Pizza Making Contest Christmas Edition in Whitby this January 14. Kits can be ordered between November 30 and January 5, and can be picked up between December 27 and January 7.
