The Whitby Chamber of Commerce provides its membership with a range of special perks, and it will be the host for a local golf tournament.
Tee times at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club have been reserved for the Fairway Friday Golf Tournament, which will open with a shotgun start. The players will begin their day with a grab-and-go-style breakfast, and there will be time for a warm up afterwards. The play will be followed by a cocktail hour mixer before dinner is served, and everyone is welcome to participate in the meal, even if they did not play. Prize presentations will also take place.
Each registrant will be given the use of a cart while they play, and everyone will receive a ticket for the Bogey Bar. They will be invited to vie for an assortment of prizes, and everyone will receive special gifts.
There are several sponsorship packages on offer for the local business community. Those who would like to book one have been asked to submit their Logo Design by no later than May 24th. The proceeds from the day will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
The Fairway Friday Golf Tournament will accept registrations up until Friday, May 24th. Those interested are encouraged to register soon, as it tends to sell out quickly. It will be held on June 7th.
