A curling bonspiel can be fun for players and spectators alike, and an upcoming Whitby Chamber of Commerce event will put this popular sport front and centre.
The Chamber has set the date for its 10th Annual Curling Funspiel, and it will offer lots of networking in a relaxed and casual environment. No experience is needed to take part, and it will provide participants with the chance to learn the basics of using the brooms and curling stones.
The activity is open to both single registrants and groups of four, and lunch is included in the ticket price. To add even more value to the occasion, the organizers are seeking corporate sponsors.
Local businesses that are interested in sponsoring the function are welcome to choose the Prize Sponsor option, which is available for $400.00. This includes four tickets, as well as the chance to provide branded prizes for the team with the best score. They will also have the chance to distribute promotional materials, which could include promotional Pens and other branded items, and they will be recognized in the event’s marketing materials.
The Whitby Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its 10th Annual Curling Funspiel for Wednesday, February 26th. It will be held at the Whitby Curling Club. It is set to begin at 9:00 am and wrap up at 2:00 pm.
