Durham College is one of the post-secondary educational options open to Whitby students. To help them see if it is the place for them, its Whitby campus will be welcoming students for a sneak peek behind its doors.
This open-house event is one potential students and their friends and family may want to make time for. It will include an exploration of the campus’s W. Galen Weston Centre for Food, making the college the area’s very first post-secondary institution that offers a food-to-fork program.
As well as providing more details about the college’s food-related program, the visitors will also be welcome to learn more about its business, IT, health and community services, horticulture, hospitality, science, engineering, and skilled trades courses. The guests can visit the classrooms, speak with instructors and other staff, find out about the college’s students services, and discover everything the institution has to offer.
Anyone who would like to be a part of the open house can preregister ahead of time, as this will mean they can skip the lines on the day of the event. Any Promotional Products needed for this sort of function can be easily provided by a local Print shop.
The Whitby Campus of Durham College has scheduled this activity for April 4. It will be open to potential future students from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
