Vandermeer Nursery serves Whitby, Ajax and the surrounding communities, and it has an activity on its agenda that it hopes will have everyone hopping with anticipation.
The venue will be celebrating spring with its Egg Hunt and Bunny Bowl, and both activities are covered by the ticket price of $15.26. There are three dates scheduled, and they each have six different start times.
The youngsters will be treated to an on-site egg hunt, with eggs to be hidden in locations throughout the nursery yard. Once they find 10, each child can trade theirs in for a special prize, and it will then be time to get planting by preparing a Bunny Breakfast Bowl planter. These will be filled with lettuce, pansy flowers and carrots, all of which are edible and can be enjoyed by rabbits and kids too. The Vandermeer Bunnies will be available for photo ops, and everyone is reminded to stop by the pond and say hello to the turtles too.
