Whitby classic movie buffs and fans of the Star Wars franchise alike may want to make sure they don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy a film shown on the big screen.
There can be something special about attending an in-person movie, and this is the experience offered to the ticket holders for the Retro Reels instalment planned for early May. The audience will be treated to a screening of “the Empire Strikes Back”, which will be celebrating its 45th year.
The attendees at the celebration will enjoy an immersive experience, and they are encouraged to wear a themed costume, their PJs or other clothing that they find comfortable. There will be trivia contests and prize draws, and signature cocktails will be flowing. Snacks will be served, and pillows and blankets are welcome. Tickets to join the fun are $5.00 each, and it is scheduled for St. Francis Centre for Community, Arts & Culture, located at 78 Church Street in Ajax.
