Whitby area senior men to tour police station

Senior men in Whitby have been invited to enjoy a sneak peek into what goes on at a local police station.

The Oshawa Senior Community Centre (OSCC) has scheduled a visit to the police station located at 77 Centre Street in Oshawa. The activity will be held in the afternoon, and it will have a run time of approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

As part of the outing, the attendees will be given a tour of the station so they can learn about how it operates on a day-to-day basis. They will also speak with an officer in person and will be able to ask some questions. Once the tour has drawn to a close, the participants will be able to head back to Northview to enjoy a dinner and to socialize. OSCC 55+ parking passes cannot be used during this event.

Police and other first responders that provide tours of their facilities may choose to order custom printed informational materials ahead of time from a brochure printing company.

This opportunity to get a sneak peek into the daily life of a Whitby area police station will begin at 2:45pm on May 1st. The registrants are asked to meet at 77 Centre Street for the tour, and the dinner will be served afterwards at 150 Beatrice Street.
