An event that will make the days of late summer much more beautiful for Whitby residents is returning even bigger than before, and it will be a celebration flower lovers may especially enjoy.
The fields at Pingle’s Farm Market will be six and a half acres large this year, and the public can experience more than 100,000 sunflowers that will be planted there. Guests will be taken to the site by wagon, and along the way, they will pass by a pumpkin patch, strawberry field and apple orchard.
The sunflowers that have been planted include the traditional tall varieties with yellow petals, and there will be an assortment of other cultivars as well. The visitors will walk along the Sunflower Trail, and there will be lots of photo opportunities along the way. Before they head for home, everyone can pick a bouquet to take with them and stop by the food kiosks for a bite to eat.
To keep the activity organized, those who plan on coming out can purchase their passes ahead of time. Themed Promotional Products are often offered for sale at this sort of special event.
The countdown to the Pingle’s Farm Market Sunflower Experience is now on, and it will run from August 6th to August 15th. Any inquiries can be directed to the organizers.
