Whitby area event to offer holiday relaxation

The holiday season can be a hectic time of the year, but a Whitby area museum is offering the public a chance to enjoy a few minutes of relaxation in an event that will hark back to days gone by.

Oshawa Museum will once again be hosting its annual Victorian Christmas teas, and to help make sure that as many people as possible can participate, there are several sittings to choose from. Tea and light refreshments will be served to all of the guests, and admission to the event also includes a chance to stroll through the museum enjoying its holiday decor.

All ages are welcome to take part in one of the teas, and tickets prices start at $15 for adults and $7.50 for kids. A special discount is available for members of the Oshawa Historical Society, and as the tickets tend to sell out quickly, anyone who would like to include this event in their plans for December has been advised to reserve their spot well ahead of time.

When planning this sort of event, it can be a good idea to consult with a local Print company. Its graphic design department will be able to prepare a variety of Victorian themed decor items, which can be helpful in building the atmosphere of the occasion.

Oshawa Museum will be welcoming guests for its Victorian Christmas teas on December 11 and 12. Sittings have been planned for both 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
