Those who live in Whitby and who have dreamed of starting their own business may want to save the date for Business Fundamentals 1: Business Planning.
The free workshop, which is being hosted by the Business Advisory Centre in Durham (BACD) will provide those who come out with the fundamentals they need to get their idea off the ground. They will learn about business plans and business model canvasses, as well as the steps they will need to take to set up their own company and achieve success in doing so.
Each person who participates will walk out with a finished copy of their Business Model Canvass, which will include the customer segments they wish to reach, their value proposition, revenue streams, channels to market, cost structures, and also key partners and alliances. A company that provides comb binding services will be able to supply workbooks and other materials for a training session like this.
The workshop will be held in the Business Advisory Centre Durham, which is located at 3000 Garden Street Suite 200 in Whitby. There is no cost to participate, and it will take place on December 8th, starting at 2:00 pm.
