Whitby’s Durham College Campus has planned an event that will give prospective students and their families a chance to find out more about all it has to offer them when it comes to meeting their future career goals.
The open house will give the public an opportunity to get a firsthand look at the programs and classes that take place on the campus. Ticket holders for the event will also be able to visit the college’s Oshawa campus, which has a student residence.
The attendees at the Whitby event will be able to find out more about its offerings, such as its Centre for Food, which is the first farm-to-fork post-secondary presence in the Durham region. Its School of Science and Engineering Technology, along with its Skilled Trades, Apprenticeship, and Renewable Energy programs will also be showcased.
The open house will include tours of the campus and its classrooms, an opportunity to speak with faculty and other staff and to learn more about the different services the college provides. Those who preregister will not have to register onsite. Brochure printers can supply pamphlets and other informational materials to distribute during this type of occasion.
The open house at Durham College’s Whitby Campus will be held on March 24. The institution’s website can be consulted by anyone who has questions or requires further details.
