Yearly festival returns to Dundas West this summer

The 3rd annual Dundas West Fest is taking place early this June, on Dundas Street West between Landsdowne and Roxton. It is presented by the Dundas West BIA and the Little Portugal BIA.

The festival is set to feature three stages that will have music, dancers, and other performers; entertainment will include the Folclore Festival from ACAPO at the Alegria Stage. There will be six busker areas which will likely feature acts such as jugglers, fire eaters, and magicians, as well as children's activities and food vendors.

Local restaurants and drinking establishments will also have their patios open, while local stores will be showcasing their merchandise and over 200 vendors will be selling a variety of items like arts and crafts, handmade jewelry, T-Shirts, and clothing.

Community organizations will be on hand to provide information about their programs and services; many may also be handing out promotional items such as Pens and fridge magnets.

Organizers are still looking for volunteers to help with the festival; they are needed to greet visitors and run activities.

Volunteers will also be helping to distribute the Flyers that were likely provided by a Toronto Print company.

The Dundas West Fest will be held between Landsdowne and Roxton on June 6th. To find out more information about this popular annual festival, call 416-540-6750.
