Toronto venue opens for another year

A Toronto venue that celebrates the area’s past will soon be kicking off its 67th season, and it will celebrate spring's arrival with an all ages event.

The Village at Black Creek provides a step back in time, and its Opening Weekend will take place in late April. Both days will run for five hours, and there will be lots of hands-on fun.

The attendees at the event will each receive a “spring vacation” passport that will encourage them to explore the venue and discover all it has to offer. There will be spring-themed treats, as well as discovery stations, and there will be two new kiosks. Town Hall will showcase upcoming workshops planned for the venue, and there will be demonstrations of 19th century cleaning. There will be baby lambs taking their first steps, and with so much going on, everyone may want to be sure they keep their camera or phone close at hand.

Historic venues that are in the market for period-style decor can count on a local banner printing company that offers graphic design will be happy to help.

The Opening Weekend at The Village at Black Creek is set to take place on Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th. Those interested can register online. The Village is located at 1000 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto.
