Voices.com has recently announced that it will be holding a VoiceWorld Toronto Conference this spring. The company was recently an Ontario Business of the Year finalist.
Voices.com helps to connect voice-over artists with businesses. There are many uses for voice-overs, including commercials, entertainment and even office voicemail.
The conference will have the official theme of ‘A World of Opportunities’ and will feature workshops and seminars. Topics to be covered will include how to become successful in the voice acting business, how to audition and how to break in to the industry.
The event’s keynote speaker will be Pat Fraley who is known as the ‘man of four thousand voices’. Other speakers will include Jim Van Horne, Deb Munro, Ellen-Ray Hennessy and David Ciccarelli. It will no doubt open up a range of possibilities for actors in the Toronto area.
This conference might be interesting to business leaders who want to take their marketing to a higher level. They will no doubt have to opportunity to meet some of those who are working in the voice-over industry or who are just beginning in that career; it could be the beginning of a very successful collaboration.
