An event that will give members of the public who follow a plant-based lifestyle plenty some holiday inspiration will soon be open in Toronto.
The Vegan Christmas Market will offer a huge selection of vegan products, and with so much to choose from, it is sure to able to those looking for just the right present for someone special.
The organizers of the pop-up style experience have put together a curated group of artisans and other vendors, and they will all be selling products, including food, that are free from animal exploitation. The planners hope that, along with being a great place to do some browsing and buying, the market will show people that it is possible to celebrate the holidays while putting meat and dairy to one side.
The market is scheduled to be held in the Ontario Heritage Centre, and pop-up vegan markets will also be held in New York and Montreal. General admission is free, but those who select the VIP option will receive a beanie crafted using vegan techniques.
