The fall 'Made by Hand' craft show will take place at the International Centre in late October. Tickets are $2 and the first 100 will receive a swag bag. Proceeds go towards Crafting for a Cure.
There will be over 190 juried vendors taking part in the craft show. They will be selling a wide variety of items such as toys, artwork, paper goods, gourmet food, ceramics, photographs, pottery, jewellery, clothing, and knitted items. In addition, there will be some children's activities, such as face painting.
Vendors were able to rent display space for $130 for a small 8 x 6 booth or $185 for a regular 10 x 10 booth. This year's event is sold out but there is a waiting list for vendors who wish to take part. Vendors must supply their own tents, tables, and chairs.
Those vendors who were lucky enough to get a spot in this year's craft show are likely to be working with Toronto printing companies to prepare. They might want to invest in a banner to draw attention to their booth, or a large sign that will direct people to their booth. With nearly 200 vendors, it will be important for individual booths to stand out from the others.
The show will take place on October 27 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Crafting for a Cure is an organization that provides craft kits to children who have to spend time in the hospital. They work with a large number of Toronto-area hospitals to provide this important service.
