The annual New Year's Eve celebration is returning to Nathan Phillips Square this December for the 30th year.
The celebration will start off with skating on the outdoor rink, beginning at 8:00pm. Local food trucks such as Pappas Greek and the Wheeling Gourmet will be on hand, while artists, drummers, and jugglers lit up with LED lights from Glow Motion will also be walking around the square to entertain the crowd. A photo booth hosted by Sportsnet Magazine gives the public a chance to appear in the pages of a future issue. There is also set to be a game of street curling taking place at some point during the evening.
The stage show is set to start at 10:00pm and will be hosted by Nicole Brooks and Amanda Martinez. DJ MelBoogie will spin some tunes and music will be provided by the groups Tebey and Zeus. Newly elected mayor John Tory will lead the countdown to the New Year, followed by a fireworks display presented by Circus Orange.
Toronto printing companies may be providing Signs and Banners to recognize those who made the event possible. This event attracts thousands of people from all over the GTA
