The Toronto office of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has plans in the works for a pop-up craft market.
The atrium of the CBC Building will be transformed into a holiday shopping party for one day in late November, and there will be donations given to Covenant House. Everyone is welcome to stop by and check it out for themselves, and the works of at least 70 makers will be on display.
The gift that will be on offer will range from cold-pressed soap to decor, textiles and even food, and the whole occasion will have a cheerful and festive atmosphere. As the attendees will be able to buy directly from the artists, they will be doing a good turn for these small business owners, and they will be able to meet them in person and learn more about how they craft their works and what inspires them.
Makers of handmade goods often plan to attend pop-up artisan markets like this throughout the year to spread the word about their businesses. Connecting with a local printing services company will ensure that they have the materials they need on hand when preparing to participate in such an event.
The CBC Charity Craft Fair will take place on November 28th. It will be open to shoppers from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.
