Toronto’s gardeners who would like to try their hand at aquatic gardening are invited to attend a workshop that will help them to get their feet wet.
Allan Gardens offers an indoor taste of the tropics in the heart of Toronto, and it is filled with a variety of species of plants. Courtney and Jackson will lead the upcoming Aquatic Plant Workshop, which will teach the attendees how to construct a small scale water garden using live plants. Each will be its own mini ecosystem, and the participants will be able to take their creation home with them.
The class runs for two hours, and while they work, everyone can enjoy being surrounded by tropical plants. All of the materials, including the plants, will be provided. Water and herbal tea will be served, and tickets start at $145.11.
