An event that is set to bring neighbours together to welcome the arrival of spring will depart from Union Station this April, and will be welcome to all that wish to attend.
The 2023 Toronto Vintage Easter Parade will see people from all across the greater Toronto area. The parade will be an inclusive event, welcoming all ages and abilities. There is no registration fee, but RSVPs are appreciated, as they will help the planners organize the afternoon.
Everyone who takes part is encouraged to come in costume, and they can choose anything from a traditional “easter bonnet” to cosplay or another outfit. The procession will walk along to the Distillery District after a group photo is taken to commemorate the occasion. In case of rain, the stroll will be held underground using the PATH system.
Community building events don’t have to be complicated, and no matter what style of function is in the works, organizers of such events may find that a local poster printing company will be happy to help get the word out. These materials can be deployed throughout a community, with options available to suit almost any budget.
This activity, which will give a nod to the traditional New York City Fifth Avenue Easter Parade, will depart from its gathering point by the clock in the old Via Rail Terminal. The Vintage Easter Parade is scheduled for Sunday, April 9 at 2:30pm.
