New students in Toronto’s George Brown College’s Centre for Health Sciences Nursing program will soon have an opportunity to take part in an activity that will give them the tools they need to hit the ground running.
The students-only event will provide an official welcome to the college, and it will also give freshers a chance to meet one another before classes begin. Staff and faculty members will also be on hand, and there will be information shared that can aid new students in getting the most from their time at the school.
The attendees at the function will be led on a tour of the campus so that they will know where their classes are, and also where they can go to access the various supports that are offered to them. They can also purchase Books and other supplies they might need. There will be orientation activities for the different programs offered at the institution, and this one will be for those in the nursing program.
This event is being offered free of charge. A local company that supplies Corporate Gifts will be able to provide an assortment of customized swag for this type of function.
Tuesday, August 28th has been chosen as the date for this function. It will be held at the Waterfront Campus of George Brown College, and will start at 9:30 am.
