A virtual session is set to provide residents of Toronto with a chocolate tasting experience from the comfort of their own homes.
EatingThroughTO organizes several online sessions that can be booked privately or as a group. Its Virtual Bean to Bar Chocolate Tasting workshop will include flavours from various parts of the globe, and each registrant will receive a box of supplies before the event begins.
During the activity, the participants will be led through a guided tasting of each of the steps in the chocolate making process, all the way from cacao nibs to seasonal bars and truffles. These will be shipped out to addresses located in the Greater Toronto Area, and the selection will depend upon what can be sourced at the time. Tickets must be ordered at least one week before the session, and while they are transferable, the holder will have to make their own arrangements for transferring the ingredient package.
Hosting an activity like this gives eateries a way of continuing to serve their clients even though they currently cannot do so in person. A printer’s graphic design department can prepare customized Boxes and other Packaging materials for this sort of function.
