A fundraiser that will help Toronto's Black Creek Community Farm to continue its work in the community will be held this September, and it promises to be as delicious as it is fun.
Black Creek Community Farm gives those who live in an urban setting a chance to experience agriculture right in the heart of the city, and it also provides fresh, healthy produce to local people.
This year will be the third edition of Dinner on the Farm, and it will include dishes prepared by some of the province’s top chefs. The recipes will feature local produce, and diners will enjoy their meal al fresco.
Tickets for this special experience start at $70, and includes beverages, food and a line-up of entertainment. The food will be a tapas-style meal, and vegetables used will be grown using organic techniques. Both vegan and gluten free options will be on offer.
The proceeds from this dinner under the stars will be used to help support the farm’s activities and community programming.
