Toronto event to put chocolate in the spotlight

When people think of a food they love to eat, chocolate is a treat that often comes to mind. An event is being organized for Toronto that will put this confectionary front and center, and will showcase the well-loved ingredient in all its Forms.

The Winter Chocolate Show is drawing craft confectioners from all over the country. Each will have their own unique take on chocolate, and the crowd will be welcome to browse through their displays and even purchase a selection of treats to take home with them to share, or enjoy all on their own.

A seminar that discusses the origins of chocolate, its roots in the Americas, and how it is transformed from bean to bar in modern times will be open to those who would like to learn more about the topic. There will also be a curated tasting experience that will give people a chance to sample the many flavours that can be developed using this simple ingredient.

To thank the crowd for taking part in the day, the first 25 to arrive will each receive a goodie bag filled with Promotional Products and other swag. Tickets are $7.50, and they can be purchased ahead of time.

This Toronto salute to chocolate will start at 10:00 am this Saturday, February 2. The Enoch Turner Schoolhouse Museum and Special Events Venue will be the venue for the occasion.
