Birds Canada works to protect feathered friends across the country, and it has a special celebration in the works for Toronto.
The Toronto Bird Celebration has been scheduled so that it takes place during the peak spring migration season, giving members of the public the greatest opportunity to view a wide variety of species. There are lots of activities on the agenda, and both old favourites and new experiences have been planned.
The festivities will offer birding walks at a wide assortment of Toronto parks, and there will be opportunities for online learning as well. There will be options for both beginner and experienced birders, as well as families, and the popular Swift Night Out and Urban Bit Sit will make their return. Many of the events will be free of charge, and all are welcome. It is hoped that the activity will raise public interest in birds and help to protect them for the future.
As with many large not-for-profit events, the organizers of Toronto Bird Celebration count on the support of the corporate community. There are various ways for sponsors to get involved, and their Logo Design will be included in the activity’s marketing materials.
