Fused glass can be used to create a wide variety of artistic works, and a class that will introduce techniques to the beginner will soon take place in Toronto.
An adults-only workshop will be on offer at The Artists’ Garden, and it will be teaching the fundamentals of working with fused glass. These can then be built upon by participating in future classes, and the registration fee is $101.80.
The activity will see students design and craft a six-inch by six-inch plate that they will be able to take home, and no experience is needed to participate. Millean Kung, an experienced artist, will share her skills with attendees, and the work will take place outdoors. There are enough spaces for up to eight learners, and the organizers advised that anyone who is especially interested sign up early.
Crafting classes such as this one give the public a chance to try their hand at something new. Stationery printers will be able to aid in taking care of the administrative side of hosting an activity like this by providing Letterheads and other custom Forms.
The Fused Glass Workshop with Millean Kung will welcome students starting at 1:30 pm on Sunday, 18 September. It will run until 3:30 pm, and the venue can be found at 345 Balliol Street. Registration can be completed online.
