A concrete planter can be ideal for indoor or outdoor greenery, and Toronto’s plant parents will be able to make one of these receptacles when they participate in an upcoming class.
The team at Handmade Jungle will be offering seats in the Crafts & Drafts: DIY Plant Pot Workshop, which will teach attendees how to craft basic planters. Their simple design may make them a good fit for many decor styles, and when the attendees head for home at the end of the session, everyone will be able to take their new pot and plant with them.
The fee for the workshop is $55 per person, and this includes the materials, as well as the instruction, a plant and a flight of beer. The crafters will be free to bring their own snacks along if they wish, and drink tickets will only be provided to the attendees who are age 19 and up.
Taking part in a crafting class gives members of the public a chance to learn something new and maybe even meet some new friends while they do. These sorts of functions are often listed in community guides, which can be published by a local printing services company.
Junction Craft Brewing has made plans to hold the Crafts & Drafts: DIY Plant Pot Workshop on August 30th. It will begin at 7:30 pm, and while the goal is for it to be held outdoors, in case of bad weather, it may need to be moved inside.
