Toronto cafe to host food drive and market

A selection of creatives in the Greater Toronto Area will be showing off their talents in a pop-up-style makers’ market.

The Maker Bean Cafe, which is located at 1052 Bloor Street West in Toronto, will be the venue for two days of browsing and buying that will see local small businesses being supported. Additional makers are welcome or apply to participate, as the more that get involved, the better the event will be.

The market will be spread out over two levels, and each vendor booking includes the use of a table and electricity. The reservation fee starts at $80 for one day in the lower level, and the price goes up from there. The function will be heavily marketed, and the Logo Design of the vendors will be included in the promotional materials.

Along with the makers’ market, the function will include a drop-off station for donations to the Oasis Dufferin Community Centre. Everyone is asked to bring along a generous donation of non-perishable food, and these will be collected and passed along to those in need. More information about the market and food drive can be found on the Now Toronto website.

The Hello Spring Maker Market will bid winter a fond farewell on April 9th and 10th. Both days will open at 9:00 am.
