Toronto Board serves up its annual dinner

The 126th annual Dinner of the Toronto Board of Trade is taking place next week. This is a very popular event and usually attracts at least 1,500 business leaders, entrepreneurs and politicians.

As usual, the event will start off with a cocktail reception. This will be followed by a short program including the awarding of the Toronto Region Builder Award to Sheldon Levy, President of Ryerson University. After dinner, keynote speaker Nadir Mohamed from Rogers Communications will talk about ‘Canada's Digital Agenda’.

One of the most important events on the city’s calendar, the dinner attracts some major guests such as Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and GTA mayors such as Hazel McCallion, who both attended last year's dinner.

Of course, the dinner is a major networking event for everyone who is involved in business in the Toronto area. There will no doubt be a lot of discussion about all aspects of business and plenty of time for the exchange of Business Cards. Those who want to make the best of this event will no doubt be checking to see if they need to place a new business card printing order with their favorite Toronto supplier.

The Toronto Board of Trade's annual dinner is taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on January 27 from 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm. Tickets are $425 for Board members or $500 for non-members, which tables for 10 are also available. To find out more information about the evening, call 416-862-4500.
