While Halloween may feel far away, the planners of a Toronto area event are hard at work preparing for this year's Pumpkinfest.
The celebration of the fall season will be filled with spooky fun, and everyone, from kids to seniors, is welcome to join in. A production of the Kingsway BIA, the organization is pleased to be bringing the event back in 2021.
Those that attend the festival will be able to enjoy themselves throughout the morning and early afternoon. They can choose a pumpkin to decorate from more than 300 that will be available, and they can also make crafts and enjoy purchasing some goods from the Bloor Street merchants who will be taking part. Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume, and face painting will be on offer, with treats being served as well.
One of the activities that is in the works for this celebration is a raffle draw. Businesses often donate Corporate Gifts to use for this sort of function, and they can also be used as swag or tokens to thank the volunteers for their support.
Pumpkinfest will be making its return on October 30th, 2021. It will take place at Bloor Street West and Jackson Avenue and will start at 10:00 am. The Kingsway website offers more information for anyone who is interested.
