SME-focussed seminar to assist Toronto businesses

A seminar entitled ‘SMB Exchange: Ideas, Advice, Learning’ will take place at the Toronto Board of Trade in early October and will feature keynote speakers Peter Oliver of Oliver and Bonacini and Rick Segal of Chapters Online.

As well as the speakers, the day will feature networking opportunities, problem-solving sessions, and case study discussions. Those attending can choose between one of two themes. Theme A - Redefining my Current Model - will feature such topics as ‘Inciting interests: how do I know what to do and when?’, while Theme B - Expansion and New Markets - will include such discussion topics as ‘Moving targets: how can I build better relationships with customers with other markets?’. Those who own or operate small and medium-sized businesses will find this seminar most helpful.

This event will be an excellent networking opportunity for Toronto business professionals. Those attending will probably consider placing a new business card printing order with their local printing company. They will want to ensure that they have enough cards to hand out throughout the day and would also be wise to perfect their elevator speech, as time for discussion about specific businesses will be limited.

The seminar is scheduled for October 9 from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Tickets are $299 for Board of Trade members or $349 for non-members, while tickets for the keynote address are $69 each for members or $89 for non-members, with discounted prices available on tables of eight. For more information, contact the Board of Trade at 416-862-4522.
