The Spring Creativ Festival is taking place for two days this April in Toronto. The show takes place twice a year, with the fall festival planned for October.
The festival is expected to be a perfect event for those with hobbies like sewing, knitting, needlework, and scrapbooking. There will be free and paid workshops on subjects such as bead work and scrapbooking, the latter of which will concentrate on paper arts and will include making greeting cards (which is a make and take craft) and tips about stamping. The workshops will run from 35 to 40 minutes, and the paid ones cost between $3 and $5 for supplies.
There will also be a marketplace featuring demonstrations in various crafts, and vendors who will be selling accessories like paper, quilting supplies, fabric, tools and notions. Guests are automatically entered in a draw that includes prizes like shopping sprees.
Crafters from all over the Greater Toronto Area will probably make the time to attend the festival for at least one day. Local printing companies may help spread the word by supplying Flyers that can be distributed to various fabric, wool, and scrapbook stores.
The Creativ Festival will be held at the International Centre from April 24 to 25, beginning at 10:00 am each day. To get the latest information about this event, call 905-773-2092.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
