Canada's Baking and Sweets Show is returning to Toronto for a third year this September.
The three-day event has the theme of ‘Wizard of Oz’. It is set to feature pastries, chocolate, cakes, and all sorts of sweet delicacies. There will be celebrity chefs like Anna Olson and Ron Ben, baking contests, demonstrations on techniques such as pulled sugar roses and blown sugar animals, giveaways, kitchenware, and sweets for purchase, as well as hands-on classes with the Virgin Ice Cake Design Academy. Many of the city’s best pastry and sweet shops will also be showcasing their products.
There will be two baking contests taking place during the show – the home baking recipe competition with ten categories, and a professional baking competition comprising eight categories, including ‘wedding cake’ and ‘Wizard of Oz-themed cake’.
Guests will also be able to sample a wide variety of coffees and liqueurs, along with a host of sweet treats.
To help advertise shows like this, Toronto printing companies often provide services such as flyer and poster printing.
Canada's Baking and Sweets Show is taking place at the Toronto Congress Center from September 26th to 28th. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and free for children aged 12 and under; students and teachers pay $6 each on September 26th only. To find out more about the show, call 905-850-0055.
