OPIA/Ryerson & Friends reception at Graphics Canada

The OPIA/Ryerson & Friends Industry Reception will be held on November 11 at the Lyra Room in the Toronto International Centre. Students and former students from Ryerson University’s Graphics Communications Management Program and those in the graphic arts industry are invited for an evening of food, drinks, entertainment and door prizes. Tickets are $45 and include free admission to the Graphics Canada show.

This will be a good chance for students and former students of the program to network with one another; graduates from Ryerson have gone on to work in many fields in Toronto and all over the world. It is always a good idea to keep in touch with those you went to school with or those with similar training. The reception will also give those in attendance the chance to promote themselves to those who are currently working in the field. Arranging for new business card printing would be advised for those planning to attend. New business or jobs can come out of a relaxing and fun event such as a reception with possible old friends.

The Graphics Canada show will take place at the Toronto International Centre from November 10-12 and features seminars, forums, discussion panels, software demonstrations, conferences, technological demonstrations, networking events and live entertainment. It is the largest show of its kind in Canada and is one of the most anticipated events in the creative arts and graphics industry. Those who are currently enrolled in the Graphics Communications Management Program at Ryerson University can enhance their education by attending the full Graphics Canada show.
