Mayfest 2013, a presentation of the Ontario Association for the Deaf, will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Building in May. Over 3,000 people are expected to attend.
The event is advertised as a gathering for deaf people. The event also showcases new technologies that can be of use to the deaf community, presents informative displays, offers career and job networking opportunities and hosts educational workshops. There is also entertainment, a food court and children's activities scheduled throughout the day.
Companies which wish to showcase their products or services can rent space for $195 for non-profit groups or businesses owned by deaf people, or $295 for commercial businesses; table and chairs cost extra. Those organizations which want to provide information to the deaf and hard of hearing community will likely be working with Toronto printing companies to prepare literature to hand out to those who stop by their booths.
Brochures and Booklets can be produced for a reasonable price; the printing company can also advise on every aspect of the design to make them appealing and helpful. They might also want to invest in Business Cards to exchange with their fellow exhibitors.
The 39th annual Mayfest will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Building on May 10 from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Tickets are $5 for adults and students and $3 for children and seniors; those aged five and under are admitted for free. Those who are interested should call 416-413-9191 for more information.
