Good Food and Drink Festival coming to Toronto

The Good Food and Drink Festival is taking place in Toronto for three days in early April.

The event will be a celebration of eating, shopping, local food, and home cooking. Celebrity chefs such as Anna Olsen will be sharing recipes, journalists like Michael Pinkus will be holding seminars on choosing the right wine, and James Cunningham, the host of Eat St., will be signing Copies of his latest cookbook.

There will also be informational presentations from such groups as the Dairy Farmers of Canada. Eat St. Food Trucks will be in attendance, and there will be giveaways, prize drawing, and even a Gourmet Grilled Cheese Contest open to those 19 and over, with a grand prize worth $200.

The Schott Zwiesel Tasting Room will be hosting seminars on such topics as glassware and wine tasting; each seminar has a separate ticket cost. There is bound to be something at the festival to interest each person who attends.

The organizers will likely be using services from Toronto printing companies to prepare. They might be interested in poster printing or flyer printing to help them advertise the goings-on throughout the greater Toronto area.

The Good Food and Drink Festival will take place at the Direct Energy Center at Exhibition Place from April 5 - 7. Tickets are $11 in advance for adults or $14 at the door and $11 for seniors, although children aged 12 and under are admitted for free when accompanied by an adult.
