The Live Green Toronto Festival will take place on Yonge Street between Queen and Dundas on July 21 from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm. The area will be closed off to traffic and over 30,000 people are expected to attend. Proceeds will benefit Live Green Toronto, which is an organization supporting neighbourhood-based initiatives designed to promote a green lifestyle in the city.
There will be live musical entertainment, buskers, local food, a chance to swap Books, movies, and music, and much more. The event will also feature both profit and non-profit organizations, who will be selling a variety of items which are environmentally friendly. Vendors can rent a 10 x 10 tented space for $275 or $75 for a 5 x 10 shared space for non-profit organizations. Toronto printing companies will probably be called upon to provide banner printing, sign printing, and other services necessary to draw attention to the tents. Non-profit organizations will also want to provide items such as Brochures and Flyers to spread the word about the work they do.
Sponsorships are also available for $5,000 and up. Sponsors will be given a prime location tent, get a mention in all advertising about the event, have a logo printed on the Live Green website, and be given the opportunity to speak to the crowd.
