The 21st annual Krinos Taste of the Danforth – a popular event that draws approximately 1.5 million visitors each year – is being held for three days this August.
While the main attraction will be the Greek food (and there will be plenty available at local restaurants and on the street) there will be a variety of other activities to participate in. Visitors are invited to try and help break Guinness World Records in the largest tug of war tournament and the furthest standing long jump.
Children will be able to take part in interactive games, and can dress up as characters from the Paddington and Boxtrolls movies. They can likewise test their athletic skills in the sports zone. There are also set to be draws for prizes, which include trips to Greece and Mediterranean cruises.
Music and cultural performances will be held on three stages along Danforth Avenue.
Visitors come to Toronto from all over Southern Ontario to attend this annual festival. Organizers likely advertise with the help of local Print companies, which may provide marketing materials such as Brochures that can be distributed to in the region.
The Taste of the Danforth will be held from August 8th – 10th on Danforth Avenue. Admission is free and food will be available for purchase. For more updated information about planned events, call 416-469-5634.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print
