Toronto’s Queensway Park will be putting a favorite sweet dish front and centre as part of a summer celebration, and this free family-friendly event is poised to offer a full day of fun.
During the Queensway Butter Tart Festival, bakers and pastry chefs from across the city will be vying for the bragging rights that go along with the title of ‘Toronto’s Best Butter Tart’. Along with this there will be lots of other activities, and this tasty celebration is free to enter.
While butter tarts will be the stars of the show, there will be lots of other food to enjoy as there will be a selection of food trucks that will be rolling in for the day. The adults can spend some time relaxing in the shade of the beer garden while they take in a live performance, and the kids can have fun in the area that has been set aside just for them.
A group of vendors will be setting up pop-up booths for the festival, and the PC SuperDogs have been scheduled to perform. Banners can be an ideal decor idea for an event like this, and banner printing companies will have lots of options to choose from.
