The North York Festival is returning to Toronto this August.
It is a free festival that showcases the various communities that make North York their home. There will be several community tents that will highlight specific ethnic groups; those are Chinese, Korean, Persian and Russian. Each tent will have special food, performances, and activities.
The Kids’ Adventure and Fun Zone will keep the children busy with lots of fun activities, including a playground and a clown show. Food, drinks, and ice cream will also be available for purchase during the afternoon.
Singers and dancers can audition to take part in the Toronto Talent Show, which will be performed later in the evening. Those who are voted into the top 10 will receive prizes.
In addition, visitors will be entertained by a DJ, dance groups, a magic show, a taekwondo demonstration, and a stilt walker. Local vendors will also be on hand to sell souvenirs and merchandise.
It's possible that organizers of this event will contact their favorite Toronto banner printing company to have several Banners made; these can be hung over stages, used to market the event, or to recognize its sponsors.
