Cider celebration planned for Toronto

As the summer season draws to a close in Toronto, an event will take place that will celebrate both local and international ciders, food and much more.

The 2nd annual Toronto Cider Festival will bring together more than 30 different offerings of the apple-based beverage from the local area and around the world for people to sample and enjoy. Along with this, there will be live entertainment, contests and Edibles provided by food trucks from throughout the city.

Along with afternoon and evening sessions, a VIP session will be held. Those who take part in the VIP event will be able to access early admission, as well as special entertainment that will only be available during the hour that has been set aside exclusively for VIP ticket holders. They will also be able to meet the people behind the ciders and have their name entered to win a special prize.

All ticket holders will receive a uniquely designed sampling mug. Custom Drinkware such as this can be produced by a Print company. If purchased ahead of time, the admission price for either session is $30 each, while it is $40 at the door. The VIP pass price is $60 each, but this option can only be purchased ahead of time.

The event is scheduled for August 27 at Younge-Dundas square. It sold out last year, so organizers are urging those who wish to take part to buy their passes well ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
