An event that is on the way to Toronto will celebrate all things feline.
Meowbox, which is a monthly subscription box service for cat owners, has made plans to host the first ever Meowfest. While it is intended to be fun, it will also have a higher purpose, as it will serve as a fundraiser for cats who are in a shelter, feral or otherwise in need of a home, medical care and a lot of love.
The event, which will have a festival atmosphere, will give the public an opportunity to meet some local celebrity cats, and there will also be live music performed for the crowd. Speakers will address a variety of topics related to feline care and welfare, and food truck will be available for anyone who would like to purchase a bite to eat.
Along with all of this, there will a mix of vendors offering products and services for cats and their human companions. There will even be some kitties on site that are looking for a permanent home to call their own, and with a little bit of luck, they will find a forever family.
